  3. This is a professional-quality full-featured
  4. software package for video titling, intended for
  5. subtitling foreign films.  It supports multiple
  6. simultaneous title sequences, many title
  7. positioning & appearance directives, scrolling,
  8. importing graphic images, on-the-fly time
  9. adjustments, robust diagnostics, and various
  10. special effects.  Also includes a conversion
  11. utility for reading 3rd-party scripts.

  13. JACOsub provides good facilities for timing,
  14. time manipulation, script editing. and playing.
  15. It uses a flexible ASCII file format which
  16. allows for comments, commands, titling
  17. directives, any time units (NTSC, PAL, etc.),
  18. and inclusion of external scripts.

  20. Recommended:  Amiga with 1.5 MB RAM, AmigaDOS
  21. 2.0/3.0 (it also runs under 1.3), and a genlock.
  22. Both NTSC and PAL video modes are supported.
